About me: I used to do cognitive neuroscience, working with EEG, MEG, and pupillometry. My first diploma was on attention and visual perception, the second one was on auditory perception of ambiguous stimuli. Then I investigated behavior under uncertainty and how it manifests at the level of cortical activity. Finally, I was drawn deep into the brain: from the cerebral cortex to the basal ganglia. Now I am looking for correlates of movement disorders in Parkinson's disease studying local field potentials of the subthalamic nucleus and hope that this will help to improve the DBS program selection and, ultimately, the lives of patients!
